3 Days Bwindi Gorilla safari
A 3-day Uganda gorilla trekking safari offers an immersive experience with mountain gorillas in their natural habitat at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The trip typically involves trekking through the forest to locate a habituated gorilla family and spending up to one hour observing them.Â
Day 1; pick up and drive to Bwindi national park
Your guide will pick you up from Entebbe international airport or your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala and welcome you for your tour. After a short briefing, you will be driven to Bwindi national park with a stop at the equator were you will have lunch and also enjoy seeing the local arts and crafts.
After having lunch, you will be driven to Bwindi national park where you will check in at the lodge and prepare for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2; gorilla trekking
After having breakfast early at the lodge, your guide will drive you to the park headquarters for a briefing for gorilla trekking in Bwindi national park. You will be divided into groups of 8 and with a ranger guide, you will move into the Bwindi forest to start your search for the gorillas.
You will spend one hour with the gorillas when you find them in the Bwindi forest and you will enjoy taking photos and recording videos of the gorillas. After spending 1 hour with the gorillas, you will return to the briefing point and meet your guide for your drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3; drive to Kampala
On the last day of your 3 days gorillas trekking safari, your breakfast will be served at the lodge and after checking out, your guide will drive you back to Kampala with a stop in Mbarara. You will also have a stop for lunch enroute and after lunch, you will be driven to the airport or hotel in Entebbe or Kampala where you will be dropped off which will bring the tour to an end.
