3 Days Queen Elizabeth national park safari
The 3 days Safari will take you to Uganda’s most visited National Park- Queen Elizabeth National Park one of; it covers an area 1,978 sq.km, found in the Western part of the country, approximately 376 km from Kampala. It is classified with various ecosystems such as the dazzling lakes, kazinga channel, extensive savannah, humid forests and also lush wetlands.
Day 1; pick up and drive to Queen Elizabeth national park
Your safari will start with pick up from Entebbe international airport or your hotel in Kampala and welcome you for the tour. After a short briefing your guide will meet you and you will be briefed shortly about the tour.
You will start your journey to Queen Elizabeth national park which takes about 5 to 6 hours with a stop at the equator. After lunch your guide will drive you to the lodge for check in and dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2; game drive and boat cruise
After breakfast early at the lodge, you will engage in a morning game drive around Queen Elizabeth national park. During the game drive you will look out for wildlife species such as elephants, lions, buffalos, antelopes, hippos, warthogs and many others as they roam in the savannah. You will also enjoy taking photos of the wildlife species and enjoying views of the surroundings.
You will have lunch and later take part in an afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga channel which is where Lake Edward and Lake George meet. You will have a short briefing and get also be provided with safety gear and start your boat ride which will take about 2 to 3 hours. During the boat ride, you will see wildlife species by the shores of the lake as well as crocodiles and different bird species. After this activity, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3; drive to Kampala
Your breakfast will be served at the lodge and you will check out and prepare for the journey back to Kampala which will take about 6 hours. You will also have lunch enroute and your guide will drive you to Kampala where you will be dropped off at the hotel which will bring the tour to an end.
